Directed by It’s A Wonderful Life’s Frank Capra and written by Theodor “Dr. Seuss” Geisel, produced by the United States Information & Education Division of the Army Services Forces in 1946
Wow, Dr. Seuss and Frank Capra collaborated on this project. That’s an odd combination to have on a propaganda film. The film hammers home the point that unless things are done differently than they were after WWI, the next generation would be fighting another German regime.
I’m not sure if this film inspired occupying forces or not, but it makes for a great vintage look at Post-WWII efforts in Germany.
