People buying hot dogs outside Ebbets Field, Brooklyn - 1920

I watched the first inning of Ken Burns’ Baseball documentary last night and that got me in the mood for old baseball-related photos. The Brooklyn Dodgers and Ebbets Field are linked in such a sad tale. A mere two years after winning the World Series(the only World Series won while the Dodgers played at Ebbets Field in Brooklyn), in 1957 the Dodgers moved out west to Los Angeles and Ebbets field was demolished in 1960.
