Oakland Oaks 1918 baseball opener

A pregame parade, warmups, and the pitcher “Doraldina” was actually a dancer in a local Vaudeville act. Interesting bit of trivia – After the Oaks were moved to Vancouver, their ballpark was demolished in 1957. The former site of the ballpark is now home to Pixar Animation Studios.
